Community Outreach Volunteer
Description
Promoting Drama In Mind CIC's programmes and services,attending community events and meetings, building relationships with local organisations and community groups, distributing information and promotional materials, identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership,supporting community engagement activities, full induction, briefing materials, and ongoing support will be provided.

The skills you'll need
You will need to have the following skills in order to participate:
Friendly and approachable manner, good communication and interpersonal skills, confidence engaging with diverse groups of people, reliability and professionalism, interest in community development and social impact, previous outreach experience is helpful but not essential

Drama In Mind CIC (Community Interest Company) is a collective of passionate creatives, facilitators and community advocates who believe in the power of drama to help young people thrive. We are dedicated to supporting children, young people and wider communities to explore emotional wellbeing in creative, meaningful and accessible ways.
Through engaging drama-based workshops, projects and performances, we create safe and inclusive spaces where participants can express themselves, build confidence, strengthen communication skills and develop emotional resilience.
Our values are rooted in compassion, creativity, inclusion and empowerment. We believe every young person deserves to feel heard, valued and supported, regardless of their background or experiences.
Volunteering with Drama In Mind is collaborative, rewarding and inspiring. Volunteers become part of a supportive team where their ideas, skills and lived experiences are valued. Whether helping facilitate sessions, supporting events or contributing behind the scenes, volunteers play a vital role in creating positive change in the community while developing their own confidence, skills and connections.
