Drama In Mind CIC is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Volunteer to help raise awareness of our work and increase engagement with our programmes, events, and campaigns.
This role is ideal for someone interested in marketing, public relations, digital communications, or community engagement. The volunteer will help promote our activities and communicate the positive impact of our work supporting children, young people, families, and communities through creative arts and wellbeing initiatives.
Responsibilities may include:
Creating and scheduling social media content Supporting marketing campaigns and awareness activities Drafting newsletters, website content, and promotional materials Assisting with press releases and community communications Helping to promote events, workshops, and fundraising activities Gathering and sharing impact stories and case studies Supporting the development of marketing and communication strategies Monitoring engagement and helping evaluate communication activities
Full induction, guidance, and ongoing support will be provided.

As a Marketing & Communications Volunteer, you will help increase awareness of Drama In Mind CIC's services and impact, enabling us to reach more people, attract volunteers and supporters, strengthen community engagement, and promote opportunities that improve wellbeing and life chances for those we serve.
The skills you'll need
You will need to have the following skills in order to participate:
Good written and verbal communication skills Creativity and attention to detail Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing Ability to create engaging content for different audiences Good organisational and time-management skills Confidence working independently and collaboratively Basic design skills are helpful but not essential Previous marketing or communications experience is desirable but not required
