ECCLES COMMUNITY HALL ORGANISATION (ECHO)
Arts, culture and heritage
Eccles Community Hall Organisation administers part of Eccles Town Hall as a historic entertainment and meeting venue for people of Salford. It is used for concerts, theatrical productions, choral recitals, meetings, exhibitions, chess tournaments, and many other community events. ECHO volunteers manage the booking arrangements, prepare the facilities for each event, staff the event, manage the maintenance of the hall and the equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, organise publicity and manage the finances. ECHO is run entirely by volunteers.
