Sunday School Volunteer

Great Commission Church are seeking dedicated and compassionate volunteers to join our Sunday School.

As a Sunday School volunteer, you will help nurture and inspire children in their faith journey by assisting with Bible lessons, creative activities, songs, and group discussions in a warm and supportive environment.

This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with children, have a heart for Christian (Pentecostal) ministry, and wish to make a positive impact in their community. No formal teaching experience is required just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to serve and grow alongside others in faith.

Your involvement will help children grow in their faith, confidence, and sense of belonging, while supporting families and strengthening the church community.

At the same time, you’ll gain valuable experience in teaching, leadership, and teamwork, deepen your understanding of faith in action, and build lasting relationships with others who share your passion for making a difference.

Your contribution will play a vital role in shaping young hearts and fostering a loving, faith-filled environment where everyone can thrive.

Key skills required for volunteering as a Sunday School helper at Great Commission Church include good communication and interpersonal skills, patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children.

Creativity and the ability to engage young minds through storytelling, crafts, or activities are highly valued, as is a positive and encouraging attitude.

Teamwork and flexibility are important, as you’ll collaborate with other volunteers and teachers to support lessons and church events.

While no formal teaching experience is necessary, a willingness to learn, listen, and serve with compassion and faith is essential.
