Description

Make calls & send emails to libraries & community centres to keep our Activities for Over 50s database up to date. This volunteering can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or a full day one-off. Office-based or you can volunteer remotely. Phone calls will need to be daytime wekdays mostly. An eye for detail, neatness, and some IT confidence needed.

Hundreds of isolated older people will be able to find friendship in their local community.

Volunteering is currently open to people in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We're working to expand to other regions and will update GoVo when this changes.

Our principal activities are Providing a befriending service and extended support for isolated older people. Operating a debt counselling service. Supporting the unemployed and homeless. Offering prayer for healing, hospitality and welcome in the city centre. Organising family activities in the city centre.
