Fundraising Donation Co-Ordinator

Description
Identifying and approaching companies, local businesses and individuals to secure donations and sponsorships. Buidling and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and supporters. Sourcing prizes for raffles, auctions and fundraisers. Preparing and sending donation requests, sponsorship proposals and partnership outreach. Following up on leads and maintaining a pipeline of potential donors and prize contributors. Coordinating the collection, storage and distribution of donated items. Ensuring all donors and sponsors receive appropriate recognition and thank you communications. Keeping accurate records of donations, contacts, and partnership agreements. Collaborating with the fundraising team to match prizes and donations to events and campaigns. Representing the charity professionally when engaging with external organisations.

Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to engage with the public and corporate personnel at all levels, in a professional manner. Confident, self motivated person who is comfortable working alone or as part of a supportive team.

Animal welfare
We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats/kittens in the Newcastle and Northumberland area.Cats predominantly come to us through public no longer able to provide for their cats (surrenders), strays handed in to veterinary practices and strays found by the public.We also actively take part in the trap, neuter and release scheme to help manage the feral population in local areas.
