You will be part of a team of volunteers, mainly parents, delivering a fun programme of scouting activities to children at our meetings every Tuesday evening during school term-times, together with occasional short trips away. If you can’t commit to every week we may be able to work out a flexible rota. For a flavour of what we do visit www.scouts.org.uk/volunteer/welcome-to-scouts/. No previous scouting experience needed, but you must enjoy working with eight and nine year old boys and girls.
You will help young people develop in skills and responsibility in a way they will never forget.
Walk about 1½ miles from Weybridge or Walton on Thames station to our scout hut at the end of Pantile Road on the edge of Oatlands Park. Or take the 461 bus (from Kingston via Walton-on-Thames or from St Peter’s Hospital via Weybridge) to St Mary’s Road and walk 4 minutes to Pantile Road.
Park next to our scout hut in the free car park at the end of Pantile Road.
