Do you want to help us transform peoples' lives? Not being able to read can massively impact a person's employment and social opportunities and their mental health. We can change that with your help.
We need a steady stream of new learners, to replace those who complete their journey with us. You would identify and work with Referral Agencies in the local area to identify people who could benefiot from learning to read with us. Local travel in Derby City and surrounding areas, car driver preferred. Approximately 2 to 3 hours per week

Education, employment and training
At Read Easy Derby & District, we are a volunteer-led charity helping adults in Derby and the surrounding areas who struggle to read. We provide free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaching with trained volunteers, giving people the time, patience and encouragement they need to learn at their own pace.
Our aim is not only to improve reading skills, but also to build confidence, independence and new opportunities in everyday life. By supporting adults to read, we help them take a fuller part in their communities, access further learning and improve their employment prospects.
