As a Community Volunteer, you'll get to help provide a range of services that support people in your local area.
To support activities that Royal Voluntary Service run in sheltered accommodation complexes within Perth City
As a Community Volunteer, you'll support people in your local area to lead the life they choose. You'll do a range of tasks depending on what your local area needs. These may include: volunteering in a local café or club, chatting and offering companionship to people, giving dementia-friendly support, food preparation, assisted shopping, helping with transport, caring for pets, delivering books or collecting prescriptions.
If you want a flexible opportunity to support your schedule, a chance to make new friends, and somewhere to develop your skills while contributing to the work of the charity, this could be perfect for you.
You'll need a friendly personality, and an ability to spot areas of concern. It's also important that you have good communication and listening skills, a non-judgemental attitude to someone's circumstances and that you can ensure confidentiality.
Are you available at any of these times:
- Monday: 9am to 4.30pm
- Tuesday: 9am to 4.30pm
- Wednesday: 9am to 4.30pm
- Thursday: 9am to 4.30pm
- Friday: 9am to 4.30pm

We will provide all necessary training to help you feel confident and safe when volunteering with us. You'll also gain access to our award winning e-learning site which provides a range of learning materials on a range of topics.
