Do you have a friendly personality and enjoy working in retail? Become a Retail Volunteer in one of our hospital shops, cafés or trolley services and help make the experience brighter for patients and visitors.

Volunteer required to take a trolley round the hospital with one other volunteer, serving drinks, snacks, papers and magazines to patients and staff. Must be reliable and trustworthy and able to start at 8am.

We need Retail Trolley Volunteers to take a trolley of items like newspapers, food, drink and hygiene products to patients, visitors and staff around the hospital. Being in hospital, or visiting someone in hospital, can be a difficult time, especially if you can't leave the wards, you'll offer a friendly and compassionate face for customers.

For this, you'll need a friendly, compassionate personality, as well as good communication and listening skills. If you want to make new friends, and grow your skills and experience in a hospital and retail environment, this is a great opportunity for you.

We will provide all necessary training to help you feel confident and safe when volunteering with us. You'll also gain access to our award winning e-learning site which provides a range of learning materials on a range of topics.
