Retail Volunteer - Durham University Hospital

Description
Do you have a friendly personality and enjoy working in retail, but you're not sure which role is for you? Become a Retail Volunteer and we'll help you find the right one.
Volunteers must be over 16 due to the requirement to work a lottery machine. A three hour shift once per week is the norm and the available slots are shown on this advert. Full till training given.
We need Retail Volunteers in our shops, cafés and trolley services to sell items like food, drink and hygiene products to patients, visitors and staff in our hospital or healthcare centre shops. We also have some behind-the-scenes roles.
Being in hospital or visiting friends and family there can be challenging, so you'll need a friendly, compassionate personality, alongside good communication and listening skills. If you want to make new friends, and grow your skills and experience in a hospital and retail environment, this is a great opportunity for you. We've also got opportunities for people with specific skills, so let us know what your strengths are when we meet.
Are you available at any of these times:
- Monday: 3-6pm

- Friday: 9-12 am
- Sunday: 9-11am
