Description

Microvolunteering is perfect for busy people who’d like to get involved and help the RSPCA, but don’t have much time to give. Our tasks and activities are quick and include signing petitions, completing surveys and sharing posts on social media - sparing a few moments can make a big difference to animal welfare. A great benefit of Microvolunteering is that you can do it at any time or anywhere, giving as much or as little time to the tasks as you wish. Digital volunteering could be done on the bus when travelling to work, or whilst you are waiting to pick the kids up from school. Even the smallest actions can make a big positive difference to the welfare of animals. You’ll receive notifications when a task is uploaded. The task will detail the activity, the time it will take (usually no more than 5 minutes each), and how to assign and complete the tasks. You’ll also have access to our online volunteering community Assemble where you can keep up to date with news about the RSPCA and get involved in other national or local volunteering opportunities.

The impact you'll have

Helps make a difference to the lives of animals by changing attitudes through small actions. Our microvolunteers have helped us successfully lobby governments for changes in law by promoting and signing petitions such as the live export ban in 2024.

Animal welfare

All animals deserve our kindness, whether they live in homes, farms, labs, or in the wild. We speak up for them, protect them, rescue and care for them, with you by our side.
