Side by Side is an inclusive community choir based in Caerphilly that supports people living with long-term health conditions, disabilities, and additional needs through the power of music and community.
We are looking for a Board Secretary to join our Board of Trustees and help support the governance and organisation of the charity.
The Board Secretary plays an important role in ensuring the charity runs smoothly by supporting trustee meetings and helping maintain clear communication and records. Responsibilities may include:
• Preparing and distributing agendas for trustee meetings • Taking and sharing meeting minutes • Maintaining trustee records and governance documents • Supporting communication between trustees and the wider organisation • Helping ensure good governance and compliance
You will join a friendly and passionate board who are committed to making creative community spaces accessible and welcoming for everyone.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and interested in supporting a growing community charity.

Previous trustee experience is not required, support and guidance will be provided.

Side by Side provides support to all those living with long term conditions, disabilities and/or additional needs through the medium of music at weekly choir rehearsals. Our members are made up of people living with illnesses, disabilities and/or additional needs, carers, friends and family and everyone seems to enjoy themselves whilst at each rehearsal.
