Charity Trustee
Description
SIAU is looking for local people to join our Board of Trustees.
We welcome individuals with an interest in our specialist legal advice and representation work, particularly those with experience or an interest in management and finance, to join our small and committed team.
Trustees are asked to attend an online meeting of around two hours every two months (currently held on Tuesday afternoons). You will also need to allow some additional time to read relevant papers in advance.

Your support will make a big difference for our small charity which provides a unique local service.
The skills you'll need
You will need to have the following skills in order to participate:
- An interest in our area of work
- Preferably experience of trusteeship, management or finance
Directions - public transport
Meetings are normally online. Our office is a 20-25 minute walk from Slough station, or you can get the number 5 bus.
Directions - car
We are on Chalvey High Street, opposite the Esso petrol station and there is parking available outside.
Do not follow Satnav directions after reaching Chalvey High Street - look for a big redbrick building with "Chalvey Working Mens and Social Club" and "52" signs.

SIAU provides specialist legal advice, assistance and representation to people who live, work or study in Slough and neighbouring areas, and their families, who have difficulties with UK immigration, nationality or refugee law.
