Calling All Artists! Paint A Pair Of Supershoes!

Calling all artists!
Take part in The Big Help Out weekend (5–8 June) by volunteering your creativity from home to paint a pair of Supershoes for a child who is in active cancer treatment or palliative care.
Our volunteers transform plain canvas trainers into colourful, hand-painted Supershoes, given as special gifts to children to brighten an incredibly difficult time.
What you'll do
- Paint a pair of canvas trainers from home
- Create artwork based on a child’s favourite theme or character (copy art)
- Send the finished Supershoes back to the charity
All materials and postage provided.

The skills you'll need
You will need to have the following skills in order to participate:
To be considered as an artist for Supershoes you must
- Be skilled in art
- Have experience of acrylic on canvas
- Be able to create copy art

Supershoes is a national charity with a mission to boost the wellbeing of children who are in treatment for cancer.
We provide gifts of customised hand painted shoes to eligible children who are in treatment for cancer, residing in anywhere in the UK. The gifts are individually hand painted for a specific child by volunteer artists who give their time and talent.
Supershoes give a boost to children's wellbeing, encouraging mobility whilst restoring a sense of identity.
