Volunteer Arts & Crafts Assistant

Description
Whether you’re into painting, paper crafts, knitting, crochet, or something more specialised – we’d love you to bring your creativity to our care home as a Volunteer Arts & Crafts Assistant.
Craft activities are a big part of life in our care homes – they bring enjoyment, spark memories, and create a real sense of achievement. From relaxed afternoons painting and drawing to lively knitting circles and crochet chats, every session is a chance to connect and make something meaningful.
As a Volunteer Arts & Crafts Assistant, you’ll work alongside our Activities Co-ordinator to support creative sessions – or, if you prefer, you can lead your own.
Whether you’re guiding a group or simply lending a helping hand, you’ll be encouraging residents to get involved, sharing your skills, and helping everyone enjoy the process. Whether you love teaching or just enjoy being part of something creative, there’s a place for you here.
Got an idea for a new group or a craft you’re passionate about? Let’s make it happen!
Ideally, we’re looking for a regular commitment of a couple of hours a week or an afternoon every month. But we're flexible – let’s have a chat and find something that works for you.
