  • Would you like to help create a warm and welcoming start to the day for members of your local community?

The Community Breakfast at Poplar Salvation Army offers a friendly and supportive space where guests can enjoy a meal and connect with others. The programme aims to provide hospitality, conversation and a positive start to the day for those who attend.

As a Community Breakfast Volunteer, you will help welcome guests and support the smooth running of the breakfast session. This may include helping set up tables and serving areas before the session begins, greeting guests as they arrive and assisting with serving food and drinks such as tea, coffee and breakfast items. During the session you may help guide guests through the service, clear tables and assist with dishes, helping to keep the space clean, organised and welcoming for everyone attending.

Location: Poplar, London

Time Commitment: Wednesdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm
