  • Would you like to help create a welcoming space where members of the community can share a meal and connect with others?

The Table at Poplar Salvation Army provides a friendly and inclusive environment where guests can gather for breakfast and lunch, enjoy good food and spend time in community. The programme offers hospitality, conversation and practical support for those who attend.

As a Table Volunteer, you will help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. This may include greeting people as they arrive, helping set up tables and serving areas before the session begins and assisting with serving food and drinks such as tea, coffee and meal items. During the session you may help guide guests through the service, clear tables, assist with dishes and help keep the dining space clean and organised. You will also work alongside staff and other volunteers to ensure the programme runs smoothly.

Location: Poplar, London

Time Commitment: Tuesdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm
