The Salvation Army at The Haven is bringing together committed, like-minded individuals to form a Community Engagement & Development Group. This group plays a key role in shaping activities and services that support the wider Neath community.
As a Group Member, you will attend monthly planning meetings and work alongside the Programme Development Manager and wider team to help shape and strengthen provision. You may contribute to client and partner consultations, help identify gaps in services, and feed into The Haven’s Steering Group meetings. This is a collaborative role focused on listening, learning and helping influence meaningful local development.
This role is offered on a 12-month basis and will be reviewed at the end of the term.
Location: The Haven, 6 Angel Street, Neath, SA11 1RS
Time Commitment: Monthly set planning meetings

You will need to have the following skills in order to participate:

- Have an interest in The Haven’s work
- Have some experience working within a team
- Have good time management skills
- Are able to commit to regular monthly meetings
- Are confident sharing ideas in a group setting
