Welcome Session Aldermaston
Description
Join us at Aldermaston Lock on the Kennet & Avon Canal between 10am-12pm to explore what volunteering in the Trust could look like for you. We have practical & supporting teams to talk about how volunteers support them and help keep the canals flowing. You will have the opportunity to try out lock keeping under the supervison of a qualified lock keeper.

Canal & River Trust
Environment and conservation
On 1/4/13 the operations and net assets of TWT were transferred to Canal & River Trust (Charity No. 1146792) and TWT ceased trading. Previously working to promote greater public enjoyment of the UK's waterways by raising funds for waterway restoration, conservation, recreation and education. Operations included The Waterways Archive and Designated inland waterway collection in our 3 museums.
