Description

Support our communications team by reaching out to journalists, magazines, and media outlets to share stories about our projects and community impact. Help draft press releases, collect testimonials, and promote our charity’s work.

The skills you'll need

You will need to have the following skills in order to participate:

Confident communicator with good writing and research skills, enthusiasm for storytelling, and an interest in media, PR, or journalism.

Volunteering is currently open to people in England, Scotland and Wales. We're working to expand to other regions and will update GoVo when this changes.

WE RESTART

Arts, culture and heritage

WE RESTART is a charity empowering communities, tackling global injustice and improving well-being through paintings, photography, theatre, film, literature and other art forms.

We produce public art and cultural projects to create awareness on diversity, inclusion and climate change. We organise workshops bringing disadvantaged young people closer to theatres and museums. We support refugee artists from war zone areas or natural disasters by providing for their needs.

We advocate the role of women as active forces to restart. We believe that art is a powerful tool for societies to heal and recover, and everyone should have access to it.
