Inside Justice is an award winning charity that conducts casework investigations on behalf of people who claim they’ve been wrongly convicted. We also educate and challenge systemic failings in the Criminal Justice System. Inside Justice is a registered charity and our casework team is run on a lean overhead which harnesses the power of an army of expert volunteers. We provide free access to experts and lawyers. We receive applications predominantly from prisoners or from their family and friends. We are also alerted to cases by lawyers who believe an innocent person may have been jailed but who can do no more due to Legal Aid funding cuts. Volunteers are the heart of the Charity. As well as key to our case work, they provide expertise in running our finances, in marketing, fundraising, administration and many other areas.
