Collection Box Volunteer

Description
As a Collection Box Volunteer, you’ll help BucksVision raise vital funds by placing and collecting charity boxes in your local area. It’s a simple but powerful way to support people with sight loss — every box helps fund activities, groups, and services that reduce isolation and bring people together.
What you will be doing: • Approaching local shops, cafés, pubs, and businesses to place new collection boxes • Emptying and replacing full boxes with fresh ones (usually every 3 months) • Counting and recording donations received • Building friendly relationships with local retailers and venues • Making sure each venue receives a thank-you card showing the amount raised • Keeping boxes clean, sealed, and in good condition • Occasionally placing BucksVision leaflets or posters in venues/community spaces
