Shopping Volunteer

Description
Volunteers needed to staff the Oasis Community Pantries from 12.30 to 4pm each Thursday in the city centre.
Volunteers will:
- unpack food
- welcome members
- help with food selections as required
- keep the Pantry clean and tidy
- restocking as necessary
2 or 3 hour shifts available
The impact you'll have
Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in community service, which can bring a sense of satisfaction and purpose. This could also lead to opportunities to become involved in other areas of community work, and could provide experience for job-hunting and CVs.

The Hub has a developing range of community activities to serve the community in and around Bath. These include a church, community development activities, food poverty programmes, intergenerational activities and making the building available for other groups to use.
