🐾 Fostering Event - Ashley Heath Animal Centre

Description
Have you ever thought about opening your home to foster an animal? 🏡
Come along to our Big Help Out event and find out what it's like to foster with the RSPCA 🐾❤️
We are looking to recruit fosterers for some of the animals in our care.
Some are waiting to be rehomed
They don’t respond well to life at an animal centre and thrive much better in the care of a foster home.
Other animals looking for foster homes may be subject to an RSPCA investigation so are in our care whilst the case progresses
In this instance, we will not know how long the case will take to resolve and, in rare cases, animals may have to be returned to their owner (in accordance with court ruling).
📅 You do not need to apply to attend this event, just turn up on Saturday 6th June at 11:00am
(Clicking on the apply button will take you to our website for more information on our Big Help Out offer)
The impact you'll have
Being in a home environment is far more beneficial to their welfare for many reasons, such as medical issues, behavioural problems (very nervous) or if they are pregnant or nursing mothers or newborns which need additional care and are simply too young to rehome.
The skills you'll need
You will need to have the following skills in order to participate:
We’re looking for experienced animal people who have owned or fostered before, and understand their behaviours and needs.
- All necessary equipment, and Veterinary care will be supplied and funded by the RSPCA.
- You will have the support of our staff on hand should you need it.
