The present postholder wishes to retire so the organisation now needs to appoint a new Honorary Secretary based in Central Scotland.
Seagull Trust Cruises is a Scottish Charity which operates 9 canal boats on the canals of Scotland providing free canal cruises for people with additional needs. This is the biggest canal charity fleet in Great Britain.

Founded in 1978, Seagull Trust Cruises offer Free canal cruises for the elderly, disabled, and those with additional or special needs. We operate from four branches throughout Scotland (Ratho [by Edinburgh], Falkirk, Kirkintilloch and Inverness).
We operate 9 custom designed wide beam barges, all wheelchair accessible, with disabled toilets on board, and run approximately 2,000 cruises per year, taking out around 22,000 passengers.
We are 100% run by volunteers, and have no paid employees.
Each Branch is autonomous, and is managed by its own committee, comprising Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and a variety of officers (eg membership Secy)
An Executive Committee oversee the running of the overall trust.
