The Salvation Army in Notting Hill (Portobello Road) is launching a Community Wardrobe project to provide practical clothing assistance to individuals who have been referred for support.
As a Community Wardrobe Assistant, your role will include sorting clothing donations, identifying suitable items for distribution, organising clothing and shoes by size, and ensuring stock is well presented and accessible.
You will help create and maintain a welcoming environment for those attending appointments, assist individuals with choosing appropriate clothing where needed, and use the client referral form as directed. You will also help keep the space clean and tidy, pack away after sessions, and report any additional needs or safeguarding concerns in line with agreed procedures.
