About the Role
Travers Rising Stars is The Travers Foundation's music development pathway, supporting young musicians, singers, bands and performers across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.
We are seeking a volunteer to lead Travers Rising Stars to help shape and lead this programme, connecting young musicians with development opportunities, mentors, showcases, recording support and performance pathways.
What You'll Do
- Help develop and coordinate the Travers Rising Stars programme.
- Support the review of music-related applications and development plans.
- Build relationships with local music tutors, venues, studios and mentors.
- Help identify performance, recording and development opportunities.
- Support young musicians to build confidence, resilience, skills and opportunity.
- Work with Trustees and volunteers to grow the programme's visibility and impact.

The Travers Foundation helps young people aged 13-30 across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland achieve their potential in sport, music and the arts by overcoming financial barriers that can limit progression.
Through structured development support, mentoring, and opportunity funding, we help local young people build confidence, resilience, and skills, regardless of their financial circumstances.
As a 100% volunteer-led charity, every pound raised is focused on creating opportunities for local young people.
