Volunteer Fundraiser
Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic fundraiser who will help develop and implement a new fundraising strategy. Become part of the team that supports over 300 young people a year in Doncaster to achieve their potential.They will also be involved in identifying and developing new community partners to ensure a reliable source of income for the future.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Help develop and implement a new fundraising strategy that builds on the legacy of fantastic local support the charity has benefited from over the past 14 years, and takes on board new trends, concepts and best practice as we look to the future.
Source Grant opportunities and make applications.
Maintain a positive professional relationship with donors ensuring their continued support whilst building a donation base through connecting to local businesses.
The skills you'll need
You will need to have the following skills in order to participate:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, Able to forge positive relationships with business partners and individuals, Good understanding of funding application process, Experience in community and/or corporate fundraising, Empathy with the Charity’s mission, aims and objectives

Worth Unlimited is a national children’s charity embedded in local communities, whose mission is to create spaces where young people are heard, are valued and can grow.
We have 4 Branches delivering grassroots youth work. Across these branches, we deliver mentoring and counselling sessions to young people as well as running workshops, drop in sessions and open access work within our local areas. Our branches are located in Birmingham, Doncaster, Loughton and Waltham Forest, we also have a partner branch in Darlington.
